Almost Beautiful is technically the sequel to Beautiful Disaster because it picks up right after they return from Vegas, however, it includes information that will mean more to you if you read the Maddox Brother Series, first.

I found the sex scenes to be more about his emotions and what he was feeling than about the sex because he's never experienced that type of emotional connections before. Whereas in BD the sex scenes were more descriptive because Abby was a virgin and she was experiencing a sexual relationship for the very first time.

However that being said, it's not erotic either, the few sex scenes are more than you get in YA, but definitely not descriptive or explicit by any means.

It's a beautiful cast and they where perfectly suited for their parts, but the rest was pretty much a disaster. This is clearly a low budget movie and could have easily been a lot better, if they wanted to make it better.
