I have cancelled the workshop in Provence for 2009. My desicion was based on the drastic increase in the cost of providing food and accomodation. Workshops will resume in June, 2010.
The workshop will take place at the "Domaine de la Baume" in Provence. A scenic three quarter of a mile walk along the Rhone River will bring you to the village of Pont Saint Esprit, once described by Mistral as "La Porte d'Or," the golden gate of Provence.
Four days will be spent sketching on the grounds of the "Domaine" and four days will be spent discovering neighboring sights and villages: les Gorges de l'Ardèche, l'Abbaye de Valbonne, Aiguèze etc.
Meals will consist of hearty breakfasts and wholesome traditional Provençal dinners. Local wines will be served with dinners.
