Come and join us in Summer Lake for a 3 day workshop. During these 3 days, we will record the beauty and the serenity of the Oregon high desert. Over 250 species of birds visit the wildlife refuge, right across from the lodge! You can count on breathtaking landscapes, history, and wildlife to record in your sketchbook! WHEN: September 20-23 (departure day) ACCOMMODATION: Lodge at Summer Lake COST: $475 includes: 3 day workshop, double-occupancy room (single rooms or cabins available with a supplement); daily breakfasts, dinners and packed lunches. Entry fees to the summer Lake Hot Springs and restaurant tips will be at your expense. Note: Non-participants will pay $100 less than “regular”participants, but will still have to pay the $100 deposit. You should think of arriving at the lodge on Sunday Sept 19, so we will have 3 full day workshop. You will be responsible for arranging your lodging for the extra night and breakfast. EXCURSIONS: Summer Lake Hot Springs, Winter Rim, and a sketch-walk on the Paiute Medicine Man Path. All excursions will be done with your own transportation. Carpooling is always an option. To hold your place, send me a registration form. The $100 non-refundable deposit should be sent by June 15, 2010. The balance of $375 will be due August 1, 2010. Newport, Oregon - June, 2010 |

| A two-day workshop will be held in Newport Or June 12 &13 from 10am to 6pm. However, the introduction to the workshop will be given on Friday the 11th at 7pm and will last until 9pm. Everyone will be responsible for his or her own food and accommodations. The “home base” for the workshop will be room 2W at the Newport Art Center at the Bay Front, right below the Sylvia Beach Hotel. The cost for an 18-hour workshop will be $180. A $60 nonrefundable deposit will have to be made by March 15. Balance due May 15. |
