Sketching a boat skeleton

I have decided to postpone the Brittany workshop to June 2011. It was a hard decision since Brittany is so special for me. It is the place where I was born and grew up and where I can, not only share my passion for sketching, but also my culture.

Brittany is a peninsula situated in the northwestern coast of France. Rich with Celtic heritage, it boasts a fascinating variety of history, customs, and archetecture that makes it a paradise for sketchers.

Plougrescant, where the workshop takes place is located on the northwestern coast of Brittany on the “Côte de granite rose”, an impressive stretch of pink granite-strewn beaches and quaint fishing villages.

  Accommodations

Lodging will be at the “Chambre d’Hôte de Keraret,” a rustic old farmhouse situated on the estuary of the Trieux River near Plougrescant, a fishing village three miles north of Treguier. You can take long walks in the "chemins des douaniers" along the estuary, passing coves and white sand beaches to the island-dotted sea.

Meals will consist of hearty breakfasts and Elizabeth’s exquisite dinners served with wine and cider and prepared with farm fresh produce and local seafood.
